As with many luxury resorts, there are certain fees that are hard to avoid (such as paying for daily internet access). The food and drink prices are high, but equivalent to other luxury resorts in Hawaii. Further, the beach at the Sheraton next door is much more swimmable, perhaps explaining the abundance of pools and water slides at the Grand Hyatt. However, despite these notable negatives, the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa is the best resort for children, and the award-winning Anara Spa is terrific for adults.
